Our Story

Mind Matters Movement was born from a deeply personal journey. When Adhya was just eight years old, she lost her aunt to glioblastoma multiforme, an aggressive form of brain cancer.  There are 26 letters in the alphabet, but not enough words to describe what she meant to Adhya and her family. Her passing left a void—but also a mission. So many patients face extremely high mortality rates after diagnosis with brain cancer.

In her honor, Adhya founded the Mind Matters Movement to raise awareness, fund research, and advocate for those affected by brain tumors. Today, our organization is driven by three dedicated committees: Research, Advocacy, and Volunteering. Together, we’re committed to making a difference in the fight against brain cancer.
